Project Golden Age is a software company building local-first tools to preserve, transfer, and restore human context in the age of AI. Our first product is gulaq, a Chrome extension and desktop app for saving browser workspaces and AI conversations.

2. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to the Project Golden Age website (this site) and to general company data practices. Each individual product may have its own supplemental privacy policy with more detail.

3. Data We Collect on This Website

We do not run advertising networks, social tracking pixels, or third-party analytics on this site.

We collect first-party, privacy-safe analyticsto understand how the site is used: page paths visited, time on page, scroll depth, referrer domain (never the full referring URL), device category (mobile/tablet/desktop), browser and operating system family, and country (derived from a CDN header). Each visit uses a random anonymous session identifier stored in your browser’s sessionStorage, which is deleted when you close the tab. We do not store your IP address or raw browser user-agent, we do not use cookies for analytics, and we cannot identify you across visits.

If you contact us by email, we receive and process the contents of your message for the purpose of responding to your inquiry. We do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.

4. Product Data

Data handling for each product is described in that product’s own privacy policy. In general, Project Golden Age products are designed with the following principles:

• Private vault content (AI chats, workspaces, files) stays on your device by default.
• Cloud services are used only for account management, feature flags, and privacy-safe operational metadata.
• We do not sell user data.
• We do not use private vault content for advertising or AI model training.

5. Cloud Services

Project Golden Age uses Supabase as a backend-as-a-service provider for user authentication, account management, feature flags, and privacy-safe operational analytics (including the website analytics described in Section 3). Supabase processes data on our behalf in accordance with their data processing terms.

We do not share identifiable user data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share anonymized or aggregated operational metadata with service providers as needed to operate our services.

6. Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add any cookies in the future (such as for authentication sessions), we will update this policy and notify users appropriately.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our products and website are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Your Rights
